Civilizations can no longer trade with technology, as in previous versions of the game, instead civilizations can carry out common technological enterprises. Two civilizations at peace can form a research agreement that requires an initial investment of gold and provides the two civilizations with a certain amount of science as long as they remain at peace. Before the PC 220.127.116.112 version of the game, civilizations were equipped with unknown technology after a series of twists and turns of uninterrupted peaceful relations. It is possible for a civilization to sign a research agreement just to get an enemy to spend money that could be used for other purposes; AI civilizations are programmed to sometimes use this tactic before declaring war. British actor W. Morgan Sheppard delivers the story for the opening films of the original game and its expansion packs, quotes on the discovery of new technologies and the construction of tourist sites and the introduction of the player`s chosen civilization at the beginning of each new game. Use this search to have a great militaryIn terms of you, you should be technologically advanced, update the units with gold and make sure they meet your new standards. Just add strength and have some Ranged Units. Although the pikemen are not very tall, they have a good fighting force that increases your military score. Look at the demographics of the screen and are not last, but 3-5th in a game of 10 players. AI has “disagreements” with tiny civs, even though they have never really fought in the past. They like to screw you up when you`re small and weak.
Also build new units as they become available. You want to gradually grow your military during the game, but don`t need to be #1. It is easy to defend in your own countries if you have enough troops. Note how I had set up a fortified line to protect my country in one of the screenshots above. Babylon was quite friendly, but things can turn back to the worst if you start winning by building spaceship parts. Castles, etc. in your cities, are also a deterrent. In this game I built Neuschwanstein which promotes certain defenses and offers luck in the melody of 8-10 in total for 3-4 cities. Reducing research costs: Meeting with CivsMeeting other civilizations that have explored a technology you don`t have, will reduce the cost of this technology. It`s a reasonable mechanic, as if you see someone using a new invention, it becomes easier to discover for yourself.
The more you know about the Civs who have studied something, the lower the cost of this technology will be. As you move towards education and scientific theory, other Civs are likely to explore military technologies at the lower end of the tech tree. You will be able to catch up faster in military technology thanks to this one, so meeting Civs on scouting and later with Caravels to explore the world (or when creating the World Congress) is important for the pace of your research. Investments in research agreements are lost if they are broken. That`s why you should never go to war with your research partners if you can help him — because you lose both. As in previous versions, cities remain the central pillar of civilization gameplay. A city can be based on a site desired by a unit of settlers manufactured in the same way as military units. The city will then increase in population; Production of units and buildings; And create research, wealth and culture. The city will also expand its boundaries by one or more tiles at a time, which is essential for the claim of territory and resources.
